Andrew O'Neill was born in Bristol in 1971, whilst at secondary school in
the mid 80's he discovered graffiti and a love for all things graphical,
upon leaving school he studied graphic design and went on to work as a
graphic designer until he realized the 'office' environment was not for him.
After a period of travel and several manual jobs he became a tree surgeon
and fell in love with chainsaws!
After seeing people chainsaw carving he decided to give it a try and
realized this was what he really wanted to do.
He has now been carving professionally for the last 3 years and has been
commissioned to carve large and small sculptures for both private and public
installations.
He still lives in Bristol with his girlfriend Tracey and dog Tilly, loves
travel, art and music and considers himself very fortunate to have his
'dream job'. |
