I work in paint, pencil and pen  to create a variety of images, from unashamedly romantic and evocative paintings to graphic pop art,unique greeting cards, cartoons and prints.
 
I have been a full-time artist for the past two years, but have always drawn and illustrated while having a career as a Mental Health Nurse. I have exhibited in a number of mixed gallery shows, illustrated educational text books and have a range of  greeting cards published.
 
Much of my art work references or is influenced by literature, popular culture and music, and these themes will be represented by a series of  prints based on pop culture across the past fifty years, with cultural touchstones that may remind you of your  formative emotional responses to love, music , and growing up.
 
I will also have simple but powerful paintings representing  freedom, love and spirituality in differing ways, whether on a stormy beach or a far horizon; these paintings can be personalised for your own commission.
