Metaphysical artist Colette Simeons was born in 1962 & gained her Fine Art degree at the age of 22. Her father was well-known abstract artist Bruce Beaugeard & her earliest work was in a similarly informal genre. Later, after travelling extensively & living for 10 years on a remote Greek island, she became engrossed in the skill & grandeur of the religious paintings she encountered. She now lives & works in rural Sussex, with her artist husband & their children.
