James Francis Morrison was born in 1932 at Camberwell in South-East London. He was educated at Camberwell School of Arts and Crafts. He considers that his education continued while serving as an R.A.F. medical orderly, learning more of anatomy, which is so useful to an artist-painter.
He worked as an illustrator/designer in advertising becoming freelance. His favourite medium is aquarelle, although he does work in oil and other mediums.
There is often a strong sense of architectural subject matter in much of his work, but never exclusively so. |
