Julia Powell has lived in Arundel most of her life and has exhibited in the Arundel Gallery Trail in the past but after a few years away from the 'Gallery Trail Scene', has pleasure in participating in this exciting event this year.

The collection is inspired by her travels to South America. The outstanding but incredibly surprising beauty of the Brazilian slums is overwhelming. In the face of adversity, there is a warmth that draws you in to the culture when connected with the residents and the creativity involved in constructing the 'Favelas'.
 
Having gone from designing table mats & selling from the Gallery Trail to UK outlets and then worldwide, she has always wanted to create inspirational designs that would sit in harmony in homes old and new and hopes that her latest collection captures the imagination.
