For over a decade Mark and Rebecca Ford have been working within the medium of found and grown natural materials. This creative partnership has delighted in the making of monumental woven environments for both the public and private sectors. 

As part of the new generation of land artists of the 1990’s, Mark and Rebecca encompass a wide range of rural skills and practices. Their installations, where one can enter and pass through, or be encased within, can be created to generate shadows and reflections. This informs a deliberate view or ambience in the immediate surrounding area for those inside, transforming their experience.

Comparisons can be drawn with a sense of contemplation associated with ancient earthworks which in turn can reconnect people with the natural world and human lineage; a relationship with mankind moulding its own reality, manipulating the physical form of the material.
Their work can also be seen in the grounds of Arundel Castle.
