Neville Green was born in Yorkshire. He Studied at Bradford and Leeds Colleges of Art. Was awarded a place at the Royal College of Art London where he studied Film Making under Professor George Haslam, graduating with a M.A. Degree in film making.

After a creative career in Films and Television as a Production Designer then as a Director and Producer he has now returned to painting.

"Having had a traditional art training and held on to the need for structure and source in the planning of a painting it is not so much to produce a painting that will be an object worth looking at as to use the canvas as a theatre of operations for the assertions of certain realities and for highly imaginary projections. Art in the contemporary World can be nothing more than a game."
