Nina Mills lives near Arundel, comes from a creative background and by chance discovered her own creativity in glass painting. Her artistic skills have changed her life completely.
Nina uses recycled glass. Each piece is unique in design and her use of colour can be illuminated further with candles – casting fantastic colour ‘shadows’.
Nina’s glass art has sparked much interest, promoting her profile further within local communities in and around West Sussex and beyond. Her work is becoming global with commissioned pieces now in France, Spain, Italy, Canada, America and Hong Kong.
This year, Chichester Cathedral invited Nina to design bespoke glass pieces based on inspirations from her visit. The Cathedral continues to showcase her work which now includes Chagall inspired glass art.
Her work is also available at The Weald and Downland Museum and Nina is developing further her Occupational Therapy workshops. These and other details including 2011 events can be found on her website.
Nina continues her success with commissioned work, is expanding the bespoke designs for the Cathedral portfolio and developing designs on recycled glass panels for light fittings which she is looking to introduce at the Arundel Castle Fair Trade event this coming Christmas. |
