I graduated from Buckinghamshire Chilterns University with a degree in textile design in 2008. After working, designing colourways, for Italian knitwear company Missoni I moved to Arundel
to focus on my own work.

I describe myself as an interior product designer and a textile artist which gives me free rein to use a range of media and impose my designs on many different objects. I create handpainted fabrics by drawing and making my own stencils. I also combine vintage, found and new fabrics to make unusual colour and texture combinations. I then use these to re-upholster chairs, make cushions and quilts and other interior products. I also take design commissions for private interior projects.

I love the quirky, the unexpected and the subversion of traditions in design. My current projects are inspired by industrial design, modernism, seaside motifs and an old french chateau. To see unusual combinations of colour, pattern, texture or space can make you think about something mundane in a different way or can just make you smile.
