In 1999 I graduated from University College, Chichester, where I gained a degree in Fine Art BA (Hons).  Since graduating I have been working from my studio in West Sussex close to the River Arun.

As a materials led artist, following a path of both fine and decorative art, my work is always experimental.  I like to explore possibilities through the process of making.  Raw flame plays an integral part in my work, it may be used in the firing of hand-made raku beads or in a more traditional manner by soldering joints in the art of silver jewellery making. Through these processes I hope to create objects that evoke an emotional response with tactile curiosity.

I have opened both my garden and studio to the public on the National Gardens Scheme, and the Open Doors Gallery Trail.  They appeared in the magazine “25 Beautiful Gardens”, spring 2005 – “Artistic Licence”, - words and photography by Sunniva Harte, and in “Sussex Life”  – “Discovering Art in Nature” – words and photography by Leigh Clapp.
I have for the past 3 years shown my work in the annual ceramics exhibition in Worthing, and been a regular exhibitor at Cranleigh Art Centre, in Surrey.
