Mike La-Traille is a professional photographer who exhibits in his award winning gallery; Pier Road Coffee & Art based in Littlehampton. Mike’s been exhibiting and selling his work all over the world for the past 25 years including Mexico, Los Angeles and New Zealand.
Mike works now mainly using digital photography practices having started out in film, however, the work he produces uses vey little post-production.
Mike’s worked on a personal project for several years based around the Barcelona Backstreets. His aim to capture the many facets that make up the backstreets such as the people, graffiti, architecture and life in general.
Mike’s gallery in Littlehampton has won 4 awards in the 4.5 years that the doors have been open including, Best New Business 2019 from Arun Partnership, V2 Radio - Digging Deep (surviving the pandemic), BizBubble - Best Shop On The High Street and the SBS Award from Theo Paphitis one time Dragon on Dragon’s Den.
