Jayne used to exhibit her Mosaics on the Gallery Trail in the late 1990s and early 2000s from her old home, Sefton House, and returned to the Trail in 2018 with her new project of upcycling furniture – often 1960s wooden Tecta chairs – which she paints or waxes, wraps in old maps, or uses decoupage. She also works on bespoke commissions e.g. for birthday or wedding presents, and upcycles coasters, placemats and trays using the same techniques. She works out of her home in nearby Slindon and has also exhibited in Goodwood. Following on from her success at Arundel last year, she is excited at the prospect of bringing her new work to this year’s Gallery Trail.
