Isabella Josie is a bespoke milliner who designs and handcrafts hats and headpieces for local and international clients for the horse racing season, weddings and Goodwood Revival.
After training in London under a range of prominent royal milliners, Isabella Josie now designs and creates headwear under her own label. Isabella Josie has recently opened her own independent hat shop and millinery studio in Arundel; you will find her in the Old Printing House Square shopping arcade on Tarrant Street.
Isabella Josie also creates a range of handcrafted hair accessories. Many of the styles, including the ‘Isabella Josie’ signature headwrap, have been designed to be worn in a variety of ways to enable each client to style the accessory in a manner that reflects their own style and personality.
'Empowerment through millinery' is at the heart of Isabella Josie's practice and she is passionate about enabling others. Over the last year Isabella Josie has collaborated with local artists to create original and exclusive fabrics for use in her work, supporting a wide range of local charities and hosted a range of creative workshops in her studio.
