Born in 1966, George Baramidze grew up between his home city of Tbilisi, Georgia and New York, USA. After graduating in 1980 from Tbilisi's National Academy of Arts, in Fine Arts Department, he went on to successfully exhibit internationally and his works are held in private collections all over the world. George’s paintings are stylistically diverse, which can be seen in his versatile approach to the subjects he paints. Each work is inspired by his mood at that moment, but Fauvism is still his favoured language and the one he predominantly adopts. Currently George lives with his family in West Sussex, UK where he paints, exhibits and takes commissions.
