After a long career in the Circus world, performing as a clown, sword swallower and Tight Rope Walker, Fred’s life under the big top came to an abrupt end when he suffered a devastating back injury. During his slow recovery, Fred started painting and sketching and discovered a talent and love for going out and finding interesting places to paint. This exhibition is a collection of sketches and paintings made around the streets of Arundel and the surrounding area the majority of time en plein air
