I didn’t set out to be an abstract artist, a painter of stripes! When a bout of sepsis left me partially blind, painting stripes became both a therapy and a creative outlet. This allowed me to indulge my passion for colour without the need to adhere to any particular form. I continue to be fascinated by the infinite harmonies and variations this simple format provides.
