Drawing and painting has always been an integral part of my life. `i sold my first painting at the age of 17, and studied at West Sussex College of Art and Design then Leicester Polytechnic in the early 1980's.

 

My first exhibition was held in Arundel in 1991.Then went on to exhibit at a number of venues, including, The Chequers Hotel Pulborough, Oxmarket Contemporary, Littlehampton Museum, The Forge Gallery Walberton, Salisbury Museum and Art Gallery, Portsmouth Museum and Art Gallery, Parham House, The Alexander Llewellyn Gallery London, The Mowhay in Cornwall, Highdown Gallery 2024, 2025, 2026, The Arundel Gallery Trail 2023, 2024, 2025 My work is largely inspired by the coast and landscape of Sussex and North Cornwall. The work of the French impressionists has always been a big influence and inspiration..
