Having grown up surrounded by animals, I have a lifelong connection to pets and a deep appreciation for the individuality and character they bring to our lives. This naturally led to my passion for painting animals, where I aim to capture not just a likeness, but a sense of personality and presence.
Alongside pet portraiture, I am equally inspired by British wildlife and the importance of conservation. Living within the South Downs National Park, I draw constant inspiration from the natural world around me and through my work, I hope to celebrate the beauty of these subjects and encourage a closer connection to the animals and landscapes we often take for granted.
I predominantly work in oils, enjoying their richness and versatility, but also explore pastel, ink and pencil to suit different subjects and moods.
